Revelation Revealed Chapter 19 v11-21 [With Overview of Daniel 2]

Revelation Chapter 19 verse 11…. We have arrived at the 2^nd Coming or appearance of Jesus Christ, the Son of God/the Son of Man. How many moving sermons have been written to describe this great moment? It is the crescendo of time…the entire Bible points towards this moment. Faith in righteousness is rewarded, wicked unbelief is fatally confronted. The World will be under new leadership forever. Scripture directs its adherents to look within to this hope as a means to purifying. But it appears that there is little real personal contemplation in the Church of the meaning and impact of this momentous, astonishing and defining event.

The book of Revelation awakens us to its sobering reality. It is in these days, the current confused “realities” shall come to an abrupt halt. The façade of the World’s fraud will be abruptly removed. His assessment and judgments of lives will become most acute. ONLY the worthy, dead and living, will have been resurrected and caught up into the unseen heavens where they joined the Lord at the Marriage of the Lamb. The Lamb of God now the Lion. The Conquering Ruler and Executioner to administer Justice on those who remain of the destroyers of the Earth. Those many, who having been given over to strong delusion, (Revelation 16:14 with 2 Thessalonians 2:11) have arrayed themselves in battle against the Lord in the Land of Israel. [Revelation 16:16 with Joel 3] Against Him whose mighty sword alone is more than enough to render full judgment in the winepress of God’s Wrath causing the blood to flow bridal deep for 200 miles. [Revelation 14:20 with Deuteronomy 32:39-43; Isaiah 63:3 & Isaiah 34]

OVERVIEW OF THE PROPHECY OF DANIEL 2

In his dream Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, saw a great image before him, strangely composed. Its head was of gold, its breasts and arms were of silver, its belly and thighs of brass. Its legs of iron, its feet part of iron and part of potter’s clay. As he contemplated it, he saw a stone smite the image upon its feet and break it. It broke so completely that the image became as chaff on the threshing floor, and the wind carried it away. While the stone then became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

God was answering to his questionings. It was given to him that he might know “the thoughts of his heart,” and what should come to pass in “the latter days.” And God, through His servant Daniel, gave the interpretation beginning with Nebuchadnezzar himself being the head of gold. His kingdom should be followed by one inferior, set forth by the breasts and arms of silver. Which, in its turn, should be displaced by a third, of which the brazen portion of the image was the type. It is a matter of history that the Babylonian empire was succeeded by that of Medo-Persia, and later by that of Greece.

He was further informed that in process of time a fourth world-power would arise. It would be as strong as iron, which, like iron, would break in pieces all opposed to it. This fourth kingdom was that of Rome. It is this dominant World power which fills the pages of New Testament history. Roman Emperors, Roman judges, Roman soldiers, Roman occupiers pass through its pages. A Roman census drives Mary to Bethlehem. It is a Roman appointed judge who sentences Him, and it is a Roman cross on which our Lord was put to death.

The 4^th image of the king’s dream had ten toes upon its feet, and these ten toes have their prophetic significance. They represent ten kingdoms into which the Roman empire is itself to be divided. And “in the days of those (ten) kings” – so Daniel by the Spirit says – “shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom” (Daniel 2:44). And it shall be set up by violence and destruction, for “it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

In Daniel’s vision in the 7^th chapter, the prophet saw four wild beasts rising from the Great Sea – the first a lion, the second a bear, the third a leopard, and the fourth diverse from all others, “dreadful and terrible,” and having ten horns.  From among these ten horns, another and a smaller horn was seen to rise, “having eyes like a man, and a mouth speaking great things.”  As the prophet lifted his gaze, he saw heavenly thrones placed. And the Ancient of Days sitting in judgment on the great and terrible beast. And on the little horn which had sprung up amid the ten; and he saw the beast destroyed.  He then beheld sovereign rule given to the Son of Man, even “dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations and languages, should serve him: and his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”

The four wild beasts, he was told, were four kings which should arise out of the earth.  A comparison of the dreams of the King and of the Prophet makes it clear that the same four kings, or kingdoms, are fore-shadowed in both, though under different figures. While the “ten toes” of the one correspond to the “ten horns” of the other.  But in the vision seen by Daniel, we have this further revelation: Out of the ten kingdoms into which the Roman empire was to be divided, there would arise a king who would “speak great words against the Most High, and wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time, times, and the dividing of a time…” (That is to say, for three years and a half.)

The first three kingdoms of which these prophecies speak have risen and passed away. But the division of the fourth into the final ten king confederation has never yet taken place. [Revelation 17:12-14] Here, then, is a portion of God’s Word awaiting fulfillment. And with it, the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning the blasphemous, persecuting king who shall arise from the midst of the ten. [Revelation 13:1-10 with Revelation 17]  When he appears the end shall be only 3 ½ yrs..

For by World events, and World decayed spirit, and loosed unseen forces, the Government of this World is surely shifting into alignment with Daniel’s vision. Wherein, in these end days control emerges into a 10 dominant kingdom confederation. And from it shall arise this most dreadful human being of all time, the prophesied Anti-Christ. Who shall now at Jesus Christ’s 2^nd appearance, be judged most terribly as he and the False Prophet are “…. cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Cast in alive because they had already been clothed previously in resurrected immortal death. [Revelation 11:7 13:11] And with that judgment, the Times of the Gentiles ruling in the earth, that which began with Nebuchadnezzar, shall come to and end.

So the Lamb, being married now, leaves the Father’s house and comes forth to take possession of what is peculiarly His own. “Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousand of His saints to execute judgment upon all.” [Jude 14, 15 & 1Corinthians 6:2,3] They are with Him now, so it was they had been previously caught up to join Him in wedding ceremony. “The armies, the ones in heaven, were following Him.”  Christ is the Head and Leader, and He goes before; His saints follow in His procession.

The promise from Genesis chapter 3, that the seed of the woman should bruise the serpent’s head, is here emphasized in Scripture. That “He Himself treadeth the winepress of the wine of the anger of the wrath of the God, the All-Ruler.”  He Himself is the Great Hero and Conqueror in this battle. But He is “Jehovah of hosts.” He then has many under His command. The armies of the heavens are His, and He brings them with Him, immortal glorified men now judged worthies, “the called and chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17:14 ) and His reaper Angels. [Matthew 13:39-42] “Clothed in fine linen, white, pure.” And though they accompany Him…They wear no armour; they have no weaponry. They have put on immortality, and therefore cannot be hurt; but they are not the executors of this vengeance.

It is Jesus Christ’s own personal appointed victory, He treadeth the winepress alone. The sword from His Mouth is enough. They, sharing in His accomplishments, ride through the blood of His slain. They wash their feet in it, for it is up to their horses’ bridles. “The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked; so that a man shall say, verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily He is a God that judgeth in the earth.” [Psalms 58:10] The wed saints are to reign with the mighty Conqueror after this great battle that ushers in His Kingdom, so it is they who ride with Him. (“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?”)

HERE THEN NOW IS MANIFEST IN CHRIST’S RETURN THE SUSPENDED 70^TH WEEK OF DANIEL (Daniel 9:27….see verses 24-27) THE LONG AWAITED ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MESSIANIC KINGDOM COME…. “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” 

It was by spirits of devils that proceeded out of satan, that the Anti-Christ and False Prophet went forth in supernatural power and deceived. By the working of mighty miracles, the leaders of the Nations were deceived into the end time alliance, taking the mark of the kingdom of satan, defiantly against the Lord. The miracles established the “truth” in power of what they proclaimed. That they whom they served had the power to establish what they said: presumably their supernatural abilities to resist any spiritual force.

It was miracles wrought in Christ’s first coming that were evidences…signs… of the Kingdom come(ing)… [Deuteronomy18:15; Acts 2:22; John3:2; Romans 15:19] And after the rejection of the leaders of Israel, those same miracles were later represented to the Gentile Nations. These miracles by the Holy Spirit that then accompanied His disciples, is also our  assurances, confirming that this future kingdom is guaranteed to Gentile disciples of Christ as well. And by the Holy Spirit and Power then displayed in their midst, and now by their faithful Written Witness proclaimed by Holy Scripture, we also now have received of that Spirit and confess the validity of Scripture and all will come as they predicted. 

GOD’S WISDOM… the RUSE of satan

To satan the then miracles of Jesus Christ represented: The Messiah had come when and just as predicted by Daniel. And He, at that time was inaugurating then, (2000 years ago) that Stone’s Kingdom, to the demise of satan’s kingdom, centered around those without Covenant the Gentile Nations. Thus, the strategy of satan was to first tempt and trick Christ into an offense against God and His Written Word. But having failed at that, then offered Him his kingdom immediately without further ado, if He would but worship him. That failed as well, and he went away looking for another way or opportunity to rid the earth of Him.

Can we see that the miracles performed by Christ was the evidence of the Righteous Power to establish His Kingdom? Of which the hallmarks were: The binding authority in the spirit realm evidenced by the casting out of demons, the freedom from sickness, disease, blindness, deafness, hunger, thirst etc. And in particular the resurrection of the dead, such as the daughter of Jairus, the widow’s son, and of Lazarus. All Miracles were legitimizing SIGNS connected with the Old Covenant and its Scriptural declarations of the Messiah and His Messianic Kingdom to come someday upon the earth. And therefore these were clear signs that the Kingdom had come.

What were they at that time to understand from this? This looked like the fulfilling of Old Covenant prophecy, in the then revealing of Israel’s Messiah and the Messianic Kingdom on the earth. But actually it was the Wisdom of God orchestrating His intent to work out the salvation of the World, and to additionally seal the eternal fate of satan, through the Sacrificial Death of that Messiah.

The miracles are thus found to be essential on two fronts. They answer to the question of man’s required faith in: a yet suspended and future mysterious Kingdom of heavens for a New Nation called out of the Gentiles, and of the Messiah of Israel as well. In both then, has Miracle assurance of power been provided in how such a Kingdom could be established. And then an additional great divine purpose, that is to present a predetermined premature evidence that the Time of the Kingdom had come.

The defeat of satan of Revelation 19 & 20 was in full view from the First Coming in its signs of authority expressed then by Christ. Satan was convinced that the “Kingdom” of the Messiah as prophesied by Daniel was now being set up. Satan had not perceived the Wisdom of God. That through the instigations of his (satan’s) devises, he (satan) through the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, would bring in the suspending Age of Grace and Mercy that would extend not only an earthly salvation to the Jews, but a salvation in the newness of resurrected life to the Gentiles. Which would extend man’s abilities to rule with the Messiah unto his (satan’s) heavens and throne, sealing his own fate in doom. This Wisdom of God, had it been known, “….they would not of crucified the Lord of Glory.” [1Corinthians 6-8]

It is now the final week of Daniel, suspended for 2 thousand years to accomplish the bringing in of the Gentile people for His Name. The Stone Kingdom is to be established. The Age of Mercy and Grace is complete and over, the one thousand year Age of Justice begins.

And He shall rule (shepherd-ize) them with an iron rod. The Conquering King, the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, takes His Throne in the heavens and the earth and assumes His rightful dominion. With the Nations’’ heads and armies destroyed in the winepress of the wine of the anger of the wrath of God, and their spiritual enemies in prison, His Spirit is now poured out upon the re-gathered People of Israel. He now sends forth the new law from Jerusalem. After redemption, and restoration comes instruction. The eternal Ruler gathers the populations of the earth into their proper flocks, assigns them their laws and governors, and allows no more disobedience.
