Revelation Revealed Chapter 21 v1-8 [ETERNITY EXPLORED]

THE NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH

Read Revelation 21:1-8
It is here in these few verses we have a picture of the New Heavens and Earth and the state of the those dwellers as it relates to the New Earth. For in the 9th verse, a new division of the prophecy as it turns from the New heavens and Earth to a Great City coming down out of heaven from God.

Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” …..“And God said…..and there was…” [Genesis 1:3] At God’s Word, the “passing away” of these present heavens and earth and its sea will happen, and that at that time of the Great White Throne Judgment. Additionally, at God’s Word, then also the New Heavens and Earth shall appear in a conjunctive way. [Revelation 21verse 1]

There is 1000 years of prevailing administrated justice and learning righteousness by sight in blissful experience in and under the daily judgments of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 26:9) Then, with that great test, the short season of satan’s release following, are here and now dramatically closed as seen in Revelation 20:7-11. In a sense, the Time of Restoration of All Things has fully been experienced. [Acts 3:21] It is time for “…all things new… for the former things are passed away”.

It is said now the dwellers of the New Earth will have no tears, and know no more sorrow, or pain or death. (In contradistinction to the Millennium.) [Isaiah 65:20] God’s Will is finally to be done on the New Earth and the New Heavens as it is in THE HEAVEN. For in this new state, on the New Earth we discover in Revelation 21:3, “…the tabernacle of God is with men …..and he will dwell with them, …and they shall be his people…. and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

Scripture has declared previously, that before the 1000 year Millennium, there were those “Overcomers” chosen both from among the living caught up and from among the dead resurrected. These had been then united intimately with Him, eternally as the Bride, and were given thrones, and did there with Him in the heavens reside and rule with Christ. [Revelation chapters 12, 14 &19] It follows then that these men, these people who now, after the Millennium, are those who were at that time found to be living in that legal righteousness. Along with those who were among the rest of the dead, having now stood before the Great White Throne, having their names been found in the Book of Life. These are those blessed then who will reside on the New eternal Earth. These are those masses He refers to in verse 3 as men and His people, who will experience those unconditional conditions as those blessed dwellers of the New Earth.

BUT as John sees and hears that One who is sitting upon that White Throne, he is instructed to once again “Write”. And to whom would he write? It is to those who would live in the Age of Mercy and Grace. Those past and those who are living today who may read. Those who might be highly encouraged and strongly warned of the gain or loss of the “Overcomers’” inheritance in all these New Things. Or the fearful and sure truth-filled words of extreme consequence of those who refuse Him.

The Words written here are true and faithful. Those of us who are “athirst,” He will give of the fountain of water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all (these) things…” It is not to those of the Millennium period that He has John to Write to. (Those who are not called as we: to walk by faith and not by sight and to fight and overcome the evil forces of this World. They then will not thirst in battle as we.) [Revelation 22:17] But to us of this age, and to those who will be faced with the worst of the Tribulation, he writes and we read that the Holy Spirit might effect our mind and will unto a certain holy, qualifying conduct. Free from cowardliness and the refusal of following Christ’s freeing commandments, that we might not only escape the lake of fire, but inherit ALL THINGS.

He adds to those words of verse 3, men and people, and I will be their God…. in verse 7. “…I will be his God, and he shall by my son.” …only conquerors will reside in the City. Again, here we see the defining of the “Prize” from the “Gift” as we have discovered in Christ’s Words and Paul’s revealed Mystery. That in the New Heavens and New Earth these will again be played out. In that there is two Aspects of being “saved”. That which has to do with Overcoming, living, dynamic faith with Reward in that inheritance of all things. And the other being that of merely born again faith discovered when compared to the total unbelief of the World. Christ does not change God’s system of authority in the New heavens and New earth. He has declared He will change those in authority.

The New Heavens and Earth and the City are not the sphere wherein these new Authorities will operate. But is the NEW SEAT OF POWER unto the infinite sphere of Christ’s and His family’s dominion!

Dominion, power and authority over what? ….ALL THINGS!

THE LAST ADAM BEING MADE Head of ALL THINGS… and EVE being representative of that small portion of His body, is now joined by the remainder of those peculiarly redeemed into His holy assembly. They are now, by extension, Rulers of All THINGS! (“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”)

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.” [Isaiah 24:21] It is now THAT DAY in its fullness. As Hades is emptied, the current heavens and earth from where satan has ruled, are now being melted. He and his hosts, having been previously judged, are cast into the Eternal Lake of Fire. The Great White Throne issues its eternal verdicts, as the New Heavens and Earth now appear at God’s command.

The restoration of all things (that is to say as it relates to the Millennial period) now appears that the ‘physical material’ realm passes away.” Behold I make all things NEW..” And it is dissolved and what is formed is after the Eternal spiritual substances, and now will exist as a part of that indestructible realm in its unfathomable state.

Scripture has verified the legitimacy and title of prince and god of this World being satan. [2Corinthians 4:4; Luke 4:6-8; Jude 9] These titles certainly had to have been conferred by God at some point, but now has been completely and eternally exercised. There was a time that God’s mercy extended even unto the fallen angels. [Psalms 82] But in all likelihood, that opportunity was rescinded at their rejection of the Lord’s Rulership at His First Coming. [John 12;31] The parable of the Husbandman, (“Come let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours!”) may be applied not first and only to the Jewish Nation as they were but subjects/slaves of that great kingdom of satan. [2Timothy 2:26; Daniel 10:13; Romans 6:16; Ephesians 6:12; Matthew 20:25; 1Corinthians 2:6-8]

It is not these condemned fallen angels and spirits then that stood before the Great White Throne, as these had been previously and finally declared eternally reprobate. So this Scriptural understanding lends itself to be those of 2Peter 2:4 and 1Peter 3:19 that were incarcerated before the revealing of the Son of Man. And not having part in that final and decisive rebellion, they were afforded the mercies of God, bound in chains, and will face the Lord again before the Great White Throne Judgment.

THE CHURCH OF THE FIRST BORN register was completed at the Second Coming of Christ at the commencement of the last Millennium. BUT THIS IS NOT THE FULLNESS OF THE FAMILY REGISTER.

The old ruling hosts that were on high, are now judged eternally, and were replaced with the 2^nd Adam’s chosen Bride. As the remainder of both seeds/Seeds of Abraham shall take the place of the Gentile kings, and that being upon the New earth.

“Behold I make all things new…” Now the nature and flesh of the First Adam must pass away as no traces of the likeness of the first Adam may remain, that they may bear the likeness of the last Adam. So those who are living on the earth during and at the end of the Millennium, at this time of Revelation 21:1… with 1 Corinthians 15. Then once again, and for the last time, at this 2^nd Resurrection, with the passing away of the first heaven and the first earth and the sea. (Which has been primarily used as an instrument of God’s Wrath) Then is the fulfillment of: “…this mortal must put on immortality…..then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy Victory.” It is only after the Millennium and at the complete passing away of every trace of the first Adam that it can be said: “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”

“…We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of and eye… the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” The first manifestation and fulfillment of this Scripture having happened at Jesus Christ’s First Coming. The 2^nd manifestation repeats the first. “But every man in his own order…” [1Corinthians 15:vs23] In that the dead living souls from the previous ages are released from their respective places as the living worthies are changed, and will put on the eternal incorruptible garments of the Last Adam.

“But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?” …God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body……There are also heavenly bodies, and bodies earthly: but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another… So also is the resurrection of the dead…… It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body… An so it written, The first man Adam was made a living soul: the last Adam a quickening spirit.”

YES, BUT WHAT OF “ISRAEL”?

Israel as an earthly people and as earthly nation will cease to exist when “former things have passed away, away, and all things been made new.” But it does not follow that Israel and the name Israel have no place in the higher order and more blessed spiritual state. “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.” [Isaiah 66:22]

FOR EVER Israel shall exist. Not in the earthly sense. But in the more higher sense. THE Fullness of the Circumcision of Abraham’s Covenant has been realized in this final removal of all flesh, into the newness of resurrected life and likeness of Jesus Christ, in the New Heavens and New Earth. Israel’s fullness and its name in its highest application has been realized in Him, Yahshua. Yahshua, who God has called His Israel forever personified…. “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” ….. “…Thou art my servant, O ISRAEL, in whom I will be glorified.” [Isaiah 49:3]

As also the name and place of earthly Jerusalem shall be finally realized in its heavenly predecessor, as the Bride of Christ. That ultimate place of peace, and from that ultimate place from where the eternal Word of God shall forever proceed. [Galatians 4:26]
