The End-time Gospel of Fear

The Bible is the source for all understanding of Prophecy, and the Revelation of all future events coming upon the face of the Earth.

What started in Genesis, in the Revelation by the Spirit of God to Moses, in the Fall of Adam with the prophetic promise of Genesis 3:15, that being another future Adam who would destroy the Enemy of God and restore God’s Authority in the World. This, as typed in the Re-creation, will transpire in like manner over 7 Millenniums, the last of which will be the Day of Rest wherein the Kingdom of God is finally  restored, followed by the Eternal Rest of the 8^th Day.

That Prophecy of Revelation continues to unfold in the history and words of Noah and his three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth. Ham’s sin is exposed and his son  Canaan is pointed out as cursed; perhaps as an explanation for Israel’s appointment to destroy the Canaanites now centuries later in the Promised Land. Regardless, it is clear from Biblical and Historical history that all Ham’s sons are cursed. Ham had 4 sons….Cush, Mizraim, Phut and Canaan. “And he said, Cursed is Canaan, servant of servants shall he be to his brethren.  And he said, Blessed be Jehovah the God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.  Let God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant” [Genesis 9:25-27]

The Blessing rested upon Shem and Japheth

What is being said is that World history and its present and future state, which we are most interested in, is based upon the prophetic Word of Genesis. As to Ham and his offspring, the origin of Babylon, Egypt, Ethiopia and the nations of Africa can be traced as can their unique correspondence to Noah’s Curse, and the Canaanite nations who later became the pressed servants of Shem. Judges 1:28 being one example, and Joshua 9:27 another.

The word “Shem” means “the name.”  Noah speaks of the Lord God of Shem.  It is a hint that Jehovah-God would reveal Himself in connection with the offspring of Shem, that in this family, “The Name” should be made known.  Centuries later, as it relates to Shem’s seed, the Lord said: “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”  He also called Himself “their God,” and said to this particular offspring of Shem: “You only have I known of all the families of the earth” [Amos 3: 2], having chosen the seed of Abraham, a son of Shem, to be His peculiar people.  All divine revelation of “His Name” has come to us through them. Japheth became the progenitor of the great Gentile nations.  Japheth means “extended, enlarged.”  “Let God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem and Canaan be his servant.”

The sons of Japheth, were/are the Grecians, Romans, and the Indo- European races.  They are the domineering nations, having controlled the affairs of every continent.  The list of nations given in Genesis, chapter 10.

But of particular interest to us, as we study the Beginnings of Prophecy as played out in the Book of Revelation, is the utterance of Noah that the descendants of Japheth “shall dwell in the tents of Shem.”  Prophecy and History have shown that through Shem, Japheth is to receive and share the promised blessing.  The Gentile nations, make up all but that one Nation, Israel, were without God, without Christ and without hope in the world. [Ephesians 2:10] After The Name which is above every other name had been revealed among the Jews – when He, who is the son of David and the son of Abraham, as concerning the flesh, had come to His own and His own received Him not, then the salvation, which is of the Jews, (John 4: 22) passed on to the greater Gentile world.

In this way, Japheth dwells in the tents of Shem. Prophecy in one way, reveals the glorious future of an earthly kingdom of righteousness and peace. Shem’s family, Israel, will receive that kingdom and Jerusalem will be its glorious capital. The Japhetic races will be gathered into that earthly Millennial kingdom, for it is written of that coming day.  “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” [Isaiah 60:3] (See Acts 15:16-18…. this is that which is the “After this…” of vs 16)

But the Prophetic Word of Noah, “Let God enlarge Japheth and let him dwell in the tents of Shem…” has a still wider and greater meaning. Japheth is the parent of those primarily who would become the recipients of that certain greater blessing of the “kingdom of God/kingdom of Jesus Christ”. Shem’s seed having rejected the Son of God,  thus the Kingdom of God in Jesus Christ. “Therefore say I unto you (Shem’s seed), the kingdom of God (the heavenly kingdom part In Jesus’ offering to Shem’s seed) shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”  This People is now being formed out of the new nation of the new man (Matt 20:33-42 with Ephesians 2:12-22). A Peculiar People out of Gentiles for His Name sake of Acts 15:14 meaning for the sake of the fullness of His Name, His express image revealed/made known in Jesus, Who then the seed of Shem rejected, but now through Jesus, Shem’s, “The Name” Seed, Japheth is enlarged, and greatly honored and blessed in Shem’s Tent.

The curse of Noah on Ham’s seed is playing out

(“…as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”)

They said (Ham’s seed) one to another, “Go to, let us make brick” – “Go to, let us build us a city and a tower” – “Let us make us a name.”  (US being man and fallen angels) Nimrod, the mighty hunter, must have been the leader, for in Shinar he began his kingdom of Babel. His ambition, satanically inspired, was the creation of a world empire in defiance of God.  God had given a definite command to be fruitful and replenish the earth. (Genesis 9:1) The building of the city and the tower was an attempt to frustrate God’s purpose. They did not want to be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. [Genesis 11: 4]

Here again, is an event in early history which is prophetically speaking to the Latter Days just before us.  Ancient Babylon and its “spirit” comes into prominence soon after Noah’s prophetic Words and when we turn to the prophetic Word in the last book of the Bible we find another manifestation of Babylon, another great leader, as Nimrod was, another confederacy – God-defying and man-deified. That final confederacy of rebellion against God and against His Christ is described in the beginning of the second Psalm and finally realized in Revelation 17 &18. And as it was over thousands of years ago so it will again be, “Let us go down.”  [Genesis 11:7] The descent of the Lord Jesus Christ will soon come to deal in judgment with an apostate people and rebellious world.

Our Lord predicted in His Olivet Discourse that “This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; (this end time Gospel Message as a result of the worsening conditions prevailing enumerated by Jesus in the preceding verses of Matthew 24) and then (very quickly within 7yrs) shall the end come”. (Matthew 24:14) This is generally taken to mean the preaching which is now done by our Christian missionaries going out to the different heathen nations over the many centuries. But what Christ is here proclaiming is; the again supernaturally empowered Worldwide witness to all the Nations in the Tribulation Period, of The fear-filled kingdom Message just before His Coming, as understood in the context of the previous and following verses of warning of the time of the Anti-Christ manifesting himself in Matthew 24:15… “When you therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet….Then let them which (now hear the end time Message that) be in Judaea flee…..For then shall be great tribulation (the message now is you must have patient endurance in the face of the greatest tribulation of all time), such as was not since the beginning of the World….” The good news being the promised end time empowering to the obedient. “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun, when the enemy shall come in like a flood (compare with Revelation 12:14), the Spirit of the lord shall lift up a standard against him.” [Isaiah 59:19] This is the prophetic Words of Isaiah 59, that specific time of the Tribulation is in full view and is there related, conditions and times that necessitate the LATTER RAIN outpouring of the Holy Spirit (the earlier being Acts 2:16-21, and the latter being Joel 2:23,28 & Hosea 6:2,3, and the shortening of days. Otherwise Jesus says none on the earth would prevail. The anointing standard accompanies the last days’ final Message of THE MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM MANIFESTING with fearful signs following, the hearts of the hearers being no longer high minded having been struck with reverential fear! (Romans 11:20) The Message that takes on the distinctive final 3 ½ yr end time tone, the completion of Joel’s 3 chapters of end time prophecy.

THE END TIMES SCRIPTURES reveal Israel as it has always been. Two different groups…the one with only circumcised flesh and the other with circumcised hearts that believe the promises of the Scriptures and are awaiting the Messiah (albeit currently from an OC perspective). Though a partial blindness is upon them, yet they do not give up the Messianic hope and continue to trust in the promises made unto their fathers. Romans 9:6….“Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel” (in the same way it should be understood, Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Christians, which are of Christ).

And he wrote in the same Epistle, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh.  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” [Romans 3: 28, 29] Also chapter 11 speaks of this dynamic from an end time perspective, as Paul predicts the outcome of the faithful Jew in the Latter Days to be that of Life from the Dead, a reference both to the resurrection of the Jewish faithful, coupled with these faithful Tribulation survivors whose obedient hearts were fixed upon God and His Promises, both to share in the restoration of the Nation of Israel upon the earth with the promised inheritance to Abraham and his seed.

These are the Last Days of the Tribulation Period (Revelation 7:1-8) that the OC had in view in its prophetic Words of Ezekiel 9:4-5, “And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof….And to the others….Go ye…and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:…” The Book of Revelation declares this Remnant end-time People to be also Witnesses, “….servants of our God…” the contingent Messianic appointed messengers. That message now not so much the Gospel of Grace as ‘The Gospel warning of the hour of judgment’, with the imminent everlasting Kingdom of God.

We have shown in our last lesson how that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that of the Latter Rain will come during the Tribulation Period, Jacob’s trouble of Jeremiah. The NC prophet James in the last chapter,  seems to be speaking to those faithless, and self-absorbed Christians of the end times, who are also awakened from their stupor… “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you…..ye have heaped treasure together for the last days…..Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and have been wanton you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the jus; and he soth not resist you. Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; Establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren,lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” [James 5:1-9] Now James uses the prophet Job to encourage the end time patient Believer, and the patient endurance necessary to experience the final harvest, in the pity and tender mercy of the Lord. And in the final Word of exhortation; James implies the time of the Latter Rain when he references Elijah, (one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3) and the holding back of the Rain for 3 ½ yrs… vs18… “And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the heaven gave (Latter) Rain and the earth brought forth her fruit”. A promise also to the NC awakened Believer now faced with The Tribulation.

The Latter Rain of the Spirit is manifest not only in the anointing of the Two Witnesses, but in that Jewish Vine contingent of 144,000 appointed from every Tribe. They are those who now become intimate with the “Son of Man” of Psalms 80:17 “Let Thy hand be upon the Man of Thy right hand, upon the Son of Man Whom Thou madest strong for Thyself”. They are those who have discovered the imprecation prayers’ fullest meaning… in the Tribulation Period… of the Psalms and those of Isaiah in their Spirit, Written and anointed application in the Last Days of Jacob’s Trouble; “Oh that Thou wouldest rend the heavens, that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence.” …. “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him’ and He will save us; this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation” (Isaiah 25:9) (Wherein the prayers are answered in the events described in Zechariah 14 with Revelation 19:11-21.)

They Preach an end-time, world-wide powerful Message with great anointing, with Joel’s prophesied signs following, the Jews and Gentiles remnant seed of the Woman relentlessly pursued by satan, (Revelation 12:17) in those last fearful days of the Tribulation Period. Their Message is not the Gospel of Faith with Grace and Mercy, that Age is all but closed. It is now the Gospel of warning, Grace in patient endurance to those who fear God… “and I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea and the fountains of waters….If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,…and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in ….in the presence of the Lamb…..Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus…..Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:….” [Revelation 14:7- 13] This is the fearful end time Message.

These with renewed Pentecostal Power of witness are warning of the soon coming Kingdom of Jesus Christ. A Message contrary to that of Zionist National Israel who has/is then buying into the restoration of the OC, with the reestablishing of the Temple Altar and blood sacrifices. But what does Jehovah say about this resumption of sacrifices? “He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb; as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol.  Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.” [Isaiah 66: 3]

When the Great Passover Redeemer comes again to Zion, it will come to pass as the Prophet heralds: “Arise, shine; for Thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” [Isaiah 60: 1, 2] The faithful living, the saved remnant, along with Abraham and his faithful seed resurrected (Daniel 12:1-3) then together, will gloriously enter into the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus the Messiah. And so it will be then, on the Day of His Return; “…the fullness of the Gentiles be (finally) come in ( a period of time that covered the Age of Grace and Mercy and the 7 year transition period and time of Judgment upon the entire Earth). Paul said, “And (then) all Israel shall be saved” This “all Israel” of course does not include the idolatrous, God-blaspheming part of the nation.  Upon them falls judgment.  “And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against Me; I will being them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel” (Ezekiel 20: 30).  “And it shall come to pass that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die, but the third shall be left therein.” [Zechariah 13:8-9] There then, besides the godly Jewish Witnesses remnant living and their faithful hearers, another remnant part of Israel shall survive and when the Lord returns, these shall look upon Him whom they pierced.  This will be followed by a great national mourning and repentance (Zechariah 12:9-13:1) that is accomplished in the 1/3^rd left therein. He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob according to His covenant with Abraham and their sins will be taken away. [Romans 11:25, 26, 27]

Then those Christians, the awake and praying First Fruits, the Man-child caught up to the first heaven, will also be joined by the awakened and purged Harvest coming out of the Tribulation with those of the First Resurrection. Christ’s Faithful from past centuries will be raised out from among the dead, all united as the Bride of Christ will partake of the Wedding Ceremony and Feast, .and then will rule and reign with Jesus Christ throughout the Millennium to the end of the Age in His Heavenly Kingdom just above the Earth. (Here then we see the Prophetic Words of Noah fully fulfilled.)
