ISAIAH’S END-TIME TIMELINE

[Excerpt from Isaiah Chapter 58-59]

THE TWO RAPTURES IN A NUTSHELL

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, Revelation 12,14, 15:16, 19, Philippians 3:11-14, Ecclesiastes 12:7

This is a portion of Brother Mike’s teaching from Isaiah 58-59. At the end of the original lesson, Mike was asked questions concerning the end times, the Rapture, Hades, the First Resurrection, Second Resurrection, Abraham’s Bosom, and why this all should be of great interest to the truth-seeking Believer. Brother Mike gives us a no-spin summary of how these events will unfold. And how we are to be watchful and in constant prayer. Mike really cuts through the confusion and explains how there are not one, but two separate “Raptures”.

He also discusses the idea of how Christ coming as “a thief in the night” is applicable to both those who stayed alert and were ready at the First-fruits Offering, which is right before the midpoint of the 7 year tribulation period, as well as to those sleepy Christians who missed out on the First Rapture.

Those of the First-fruits Rapture are kept from “the hour of temptation” (the last half of the Tribulation Period) as a reward for their faithfulness and fruitfulness. [Revelation 3:10] While those who were left behind will have to faithfully endure, or be ripened by the hot sun of the Tribulation Period. Mike uses the agricultural pattern typed in Leviticus to show how those of the First-fruits Rapture are likened to the First-fruits offering of the Harvest and how the second group of believers are likened to the rest of the fruit of the Harvest which were not ripe (prepared and ready) at the time of the First-fruits Offering/Rapture. Those of the “Vintage” are likened to those who remain in the field/earth at the time of Christ’s Return to the Earth (Vintage judgement) to pour out God’s wrath.

Mike also discusses the parable of the wise and foolish virgins (believers) who fell asleep (died) and how some of them will rise at the Harvest Rapture (1Thessalonians 4:16) out from among the dead (from Paradise) and how the foolish ones (unfruitful, apathetic believers) will shamefully await to be resurrected until after the 1,000 year reign has ended. For though these have eternal life, they are NOT FOUND WORTHY to rule and reign with Him during the Millennial Kingdom. For Christ’s promises in Revelation (to be fulfilled in the Millennium and beyond) are only to those who Overcome, who cooperate with the Holy Spirit and live their lives conformed to the image of Christ. By God’s mercy and grace may we finish the race strong and obtain the Promises given to the Overcomer.
